Highway Sun
The Open Highway Is Hot
NH-44 offers no shade. On a summer afternoon trip between Delhi, Murthal and Panipat, the sun beats down through the windscreen and side windows for hours. The cabin warms up, the AC works flat out, and the driver's arm and face take the brunt of the UV.
Window film reduces the amount of heat and UV entering the car. With a good film, the cabin stays more comfortable, the AC does not have to work as hard and long drives become less tiring. Film also cuts glare from the low sun and from oncoming headlights on the highway at night.
Films
Choosing the Right Film
Dyed film
An affordable film that adds privacy and blocks about 99% of UV, with modest heat rejection of around 30–40%.
Carbon film
A sleek, non-reflective look with roughly 50–60% heat rejection. It does not fade and does not block signals.
Ceramic film
The top choice for highway drivers. It rejects 70–99% of heat while staying light, so visibility stays clear and you remain within legal limits.
Many car sun film products sold cheaply are simply dyed film that fades and bubbles. We use quality films with written warranties.

The Law
Legal Shades Only
Highway checkpoints regularly stop cars with dark films. Indian rules require at least 70% visible light transmission on the windscreen and rear glass and at least 50% on side windows. Dark black film is not allowed.
We install only shades within these limits and can show you the VLT of your film. A clear ceramic film for the windscreen lets you cut heat without any visible tint.

Care
After Installation
Keep the windows up for three to four days. Slight haze or water bubbles in the first few days are normal and clear as the film dries. Clean film with a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner, and avoid sticking anything to the film.
If you have old purple or bubbling film, we remove it carefully — including the adhesive — before fitting new film, taking care not to damage rear demister lines.
Families
Comfort for Passengers Too
On a long drive, rear-seat passengers often suffer more than the driver. Children and elderly parents sit for hours with the sun coming through the side windows. A legal ceramic or carbon film on the rear windows makes these journeys far more comfortable, without making the glass illegally dark.
Film also helps protect the interior on weekend trips when the car is parked for an hour or two at a dhaba in full sun. The dashboard, steering wheel and seats stay cooler, and long-term fading of plastics and fabric is reduced.
Ask to see samples on your own car before deciding — the difference between film types is easy to feel with your hand on the glass.
