The Heat

Summer in Gohana

From April to June, Gohana bakes. Cars parked at the grain market, near the mill or in front of shops become ovens within an hour. Most of the heat comes in through the glass, along with UV rays that fade dashboards and crack upholstery over time.

Window film reduces the infrared heat and UV entering the car. The cabin stays cooler, the AC cools faster and the interior is protected. Film also reduces glare on bright afternoons and from headlights at night.

Films

Which Film Is Right?

Dyed film

Affordable privacy, about 99% UV block and 30–40% heat rejection.

Carbon film

Matte-black look, about 50–60% heat rejection, no signal interference.

Ceramic film

The best heat-resistant window film, rejecting 70–99% of heat while staying light.

Cheap 'sun film' often fades to purple and bubbles within a year. We use quality films with written warranties.

Rules

Legal Shades Only

Indian rules require at least 70% visible light transmission on the windscreen and rear glass and at least 50% on side windows. Very dark black films are not allowed.

We install only legal shades and can show you the VLT of the film. A clear ceramic film is available for the windscreen to cut heat without visible tint.

Read our guide on window tinting rules in India, and check current transport department notices as rules can change.

Care & Old Film

After Installation

Keep windows up for three to four days. Slight haze in the first days is normal. Clean with a soft, damp microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner; avoid stickers and sharp objects on the film.

If your car has old purple or illegal dark film, we remove it — and the old adhesive — before fitting a legal film, taking care not to damage the rear demister.

Many customers find that a lighter ceramic film keeps the car cooler than their old dark film, because heat rejection depends on film technology rather than darkness.

Rear-seat passengers benefit the most on long afternoon drives to Sonipat, Rohtak or Panipat.

Choosing

How to Choose Your Film

If you mostly drive short trips around town and want privacy on a budget, dyed film is enough. If you travel daily to Sonipat, Rohtak or Panipat, carbon film offers better heat control and a cleaner look that does not fade.

If your car stands in the open sun for hours — at the mandi, the mill or a workplace — ceramic film is worth it. It rejects the most heat while staying light, so you stay within visibility rules and still feel a clear difference on a June afternoon.

We fit sample pieces on your own windows so you can feel the difference with your hand on the glass before deciding. Quality film is a one-time investment that works every day for years.
