What PPF Is
Self-Healing TPU Film
PPF is a clear film made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is stretched over painted panels and bonds with a clear adhesive. The outer layer is self-healing: light scratches and swirl marks from washing disappear when the film is warmed by the sun or warm water.
Quality TPU film stays clear for years. Cheap PVC alternatives look similar on day one but yellow, crack and leave adhesive behind. We only install TPU film with a written warranty of three to five years.
Finishes
Choose gloss PPF to keep the factory shine, matte PPF for a satin look, or colour PPF to change the colour while protecting the paint underneath.

Aftercare
Caring for PPF in an Industrial Area
Paint protection film is tough, but industrial fallout still needs to be washed off regularly. Rinse the car with plain water once or twice a week if it is parked in IMT, and give it a proper pH-neutral wash every week or two. Avoid aiming a pressure washer directly at film edges, especially in the first month.
If anything sticky lands on the car — tar, paint overspray from nearby units or bird droppings — remove it within a day using a soft cloth and a suitable cleaner rather than scraping. If you ever notice a lifted edge, bring the car in and we will reseal it under warranty.
Many Kundli customers add a ceramic coating on top of their PPF. It makes the film even more slippery, so factory dust rinses off with water and the car looks freshly washed for longer.
